Out of the Lines Coloring Competition
Here's how the competition works:
- Choose one of five drawings
(to download to your computer) - Color it based on your artistic interpretation of our themes.
(Use any coloring medium, such as paint, crayons, even digitally.) - You can enter multiple times... first entry $25, each additional entry $5
- The more entries, the bigger the winnings, so tell all your friends!

Choose one of the five images you'd like to color.
Use any coloring medium you prefer, such as crayons, paint, markers, watercolor, Photoshop, etc. If your artwork is not digital, just send a digital photo. Processing fee of $25 (US) for first entry and only $5 for each additional entry. With the payment of your initial entry fee you will get my e-book, "Grownups Guide to Coloring Books" for free... a $25 value!For an additional $25, you can get the hard copy of your artwork signed by Richmond Stubbs as a collaboration, as well as entering the competition and receiving the e-book!
There are samples in the e-book of colored images and some words of wisdom from a guy whose been around the block a few times. You may even find some hints about what the judges are looking for. The deadline is December 15, 2006...enter the competition NOW and OFTEN!
All processing fees must be paid before submissions will be accepted.
Once you've paid the entry fee via PayPal (they accept all major credit cards), you'll be directed to the web page for art submissions and the link to download the ebook. Acceptable file formats for your art: jpg, tif or pdf, 150dpi, scalable to 5in X 7in. Please keep file size below 4mb/image if possible. Anything over 5mb will not upload.
Check our Gallery page if you have an interest in purchasing original items or prints. Richmond Stubbs is also available for commissioned works, especially horse portraits.
All images shown in the gallery are available for prints (matted, signed, 18 x 24 inch, shrink wrapped and free shipping)!

I remember fifty years ago while growing up in Atlanta Georgia, you could drink water right out of the tap and it was as good as most bottled water today. Before the interstate highway system and our dependence on fossil fuel. Before all the run-off from pesticides that pollute streams and lakes and rivers.
In order to create a radical reverse in current trends we must have a vision for what we want. A vision for clean air and water is a great first step in reversing those trends.
This is why I have created the "Out of the Lines Coloring Competition" with a theme for a vision of clean air and clean water. I have created five images to color expressing those themes. Enter the competition NOW... please do not wait till the deadline for your entry.
We of the planet earth needed this vision yesterday, and what we have is now. So enter now and enter often. $1500 in awards including a $1000 first prize. If entries exceed expectations the prize money will be higher. If millions of people feel the urgency of the vision and participate in the competition, we'll create a wilderness trust to purchase land all over the world for indigenous people.
